Since 1980, Maine Youth Leadership (MYL) has worked with Maine youth to seek out, recognize, and develop their leadership skills. Our goal is to motivate Maine’s future leaders and create a network of civic-minded students who will better their communities through volunteering. Our programs encourage and assist students at critical times in their quest for self-identification and development and we provide give-and-take discussions with thought leaders and role models from across Maine. About Tree Street Youth Tree Street Youth (TSY) is a Lewiston, Maine-based community of young people and adults who work together to create opportunities for leadership, learning, exploration, and growth. Serving nearly 1,200 young people ages 4–24 each year, TSY provides free, relationship-centered programs that support academic engagement, social-emotional wellness, workforce development, and meaningful connections. Grounded in equity, care, and radical accessibility, Tree Street Youth empowers young people to recognize their strengths, shape their futures, and build a more connected and inclusive community.
